The MINAEAST-NET project (www.minaeast.net) is organizing in Athens on 15 th of July 2005 a Second MINAEAST-NET Workshop aiming to intensify the collaboration with Eastern Europe in the micro-nanotechnologies domain. The participants will present recent research results obtained in the MNT domain and also the human and material potential, together with possibilities for cooperation. The presentations will be then disseminated through publications and project website.

The participants may benefit from a travel grant for participating to the workshop. The grant will cover the travel by plane, accommodation to the hotel and daily allowance expenses according to the regulations in the origin country.

The workshop will be held in Athens, Greece, at the National Centre of Scientific Research “Demokritos”, Institute for Microelectronics.

In order to apply for a grant, you have to register first in the specialists and centre databases (http://www.minaeast.net/databases.htm) and then complete the “Grant Request” form, accessible at the address http://www.minaeast.net/grants.htm and send it signed and stamped by fax to the National Institute for R&D in Microtechnologies (MINAEAST-NET project coordinator), fax number +4 021 490 8238, no later than Thursday 7 th of July, 2005 .
